Delete your Weydaa account

This page covers the Weydaa app (Android) and the weydaa.com website, which share the same account: deleting it from one deletes it everywhere.

You can delete your account yourself at any time, in three ways:

1. In the Android app: Profile → My data → Delete my account.
2. On weydaa.com: Dashboard → Settings → Delete my account.
3. By email: write to contact@weydaa.com from your account's email address asking for its deletion. We process the request and confirm the deletion by email.

For security, the deletion must be confirmed: with your password or, if your account was created with Google, by signing in again with Google. It is immediate and permanent, and signs you out of all your devices.

Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of your data: Settings → Export my data on the website, Profile → My data in the app.

As soon as you confirm, the following data is deleted or erased:

• Your profile: name, photo and bio
• Your credentials: email address, password, Google sign-in and open sessions
• Your phone number, on your profile and on all your listings
• Your favorites, notifications, search alerts, archived conversations and blocked users list
• The notification tokens of your devices (browser and Android app)
• Your browsing history on the website, which is unlinked from your account
• Your live or pending listings are removed from the site: they no longer appear in search results and can no longer be contacted

Some data is retained because it also concerns other users or the security of the service:

• Messages you exchanged and reviews you published: they are part of your contacts' history and remain displayed under an anonymous "Deleted account" profile, without your name, photo, email or phone number
• The content of your past listings (text and photos): it no longer appears in search results, can no longer be contacted and is no longer linked to your contact details
• Requests sent through the contact form (with the name and email you entered) and your reports, kept for follow-up; you can ask for them to be erased at contact@weydaa.com
• Technical sign-in logs, kept for up to 90 days for security and fraud prevention, then deleted
